Excellent food. Fresh seafood! The seafood basket was a generous portion and cooked perfectly. Perfectly fried oyster Po'Boy had fresh oysters and a buttery, toasted bun. Friendly service. We highly recommend!

Was looking for a place that had seafood on the menu, found the seafood bistro online and decided to try it. Staff was so nice, food took a little long. We had shrimp and grits and the bistro bucket. Shrimp and grits was good-made differently then ever had before. The bucket was over cooked but okay.

Food is great but management needs to work on there people skills. A customer is a valuable asset to a restaurant. Running off customers who have supported you and spent hard earned money is not the best way to stay in business. Especially not knowing the impact and advertisements that said customer may have.

We just had the best meal at Santee Seafood! We are staying at a motel nearby, we asked the woman at the desk for a nearby restaurant that had fresh local seafood, and she said "Santee Seafood Bistro!" She told us they just opened but the owners have years of experience in local catering. It had the most comfortable friendly vibe. Everything is home-made and fresh. We had the fish tacos (seared) and half of a seared catfish with all the sides. The wine and beer lists are fine and reasonably priced. They also have cocktails. They're open Wednesdays to Saturdays. A lovely, local, non-franchise restaurant. You can't do better!

We had a great lunch experience! Mallory was our server and she was very pleasant and friendly. The prices were very reasonable and the food was cooked to perfection. No cornbread today but the hush puppies were wonderful! We will be back!

This place is delish! I highly recommend the small fried platter. It is piled high with all things fried and delicious. The staff is friendly and attentive. A great find for the family. You won't be disappointed.

Shrimp was fried well and cornbread was good. Oysters, fries, and fish was fried too hard. Staff was very nice. Out of sweet tea and straws, weird.

Very quaint little place, good food and exceptional service. Fresh flounder was cooked perfectly! Hush puppies were awesome! Just would've preferred real butter to spread on them!!!❤

The CORNBREAD is to die for!!!!!! Shrimp and grits are amazing... Deviled eggs were delicious... crab cakes have PLENTY of meat and are cooked perfectly... Seafood boil bucket was AWESOME more than enough food and the crab legs were PERFECT!!!!! ADD TO YOUR VISIT 😍😍😍😍😍😍💗🙌

We were traveling on a Thursday afternoon and getting very hungry. Every restaurant that looked good was closed until 4-5pm. LUCKILY, this place was open and the food was excellent!!!! On top of that, the service was super friendly and accommodating! (CLEAN bathrooms too!) If you’re looking for some good eats along your travels this is totally worth the stop for a satisfying pit stop lunch.

Food was terrible. Shrimp and grits looked grey/brown. Don’t waste your money.

I noticed Santee Seafood Bistro when I drove into town for the weekend thinking “I must try this place.” We tried them out for lunch today and had a very yummy lunch. Great value for the serving size! I ordered the fried seafood platter and thought it was excellent! Light batter, fresh seafood with fresh collard greens. Ended up with peach cobbler, so good! Mallory took care of us and she was very responsive and friendly! We will be back again this weekend!

This place was a place a friend and I started on a few years back .I'm a known cook from santee ,elloree, and orangeburg s.c . We got knock off because they knew of my skills ..but it's ok, I take no shortcuts when I'm cooking. All fresh no can goods . 2020 is almost here my style cooking is what people or looking for ..you got to know how to mix it all in ..a food place is no food place without, greens, Casserole.just saying

Fish and chips were great! Also had the gizzards and they were the best! The dipping sauce was awesome!! I wished that they bottled it!

service was good, overwhelmed but good. food was very over cooked until their was no flavor or moisture left. on top of that they were out of most seafood on menu, but with lack of cooking skills of the cook, that could be a good thing. Never again.

He were on the road when decided to stop and have some South Carolina seafood. Did not regret it! Food was absolutely delicious and the service more than friendly

The food is really good, but this place is the worst place I have eaten lunch at in Santee. Been there three times and they never have had enough of the type of fish that was requested.... always had to substitute. Serves has always been slower than normal. Wait staff is not friendly, price doesnt represent value. I will likely never go back. I hope others (maybe the regulare) have better luck, but I recommend avoiding this place

Slow! And the seared flounder wasn’t like any flounder I’ve ever seen. Flavor was not terrible but seemed more like talipia. Over priced for what u get.

Great people and great food. We had the fried shrimp, fried clams, fried cod, and crab legs....all delicious! They were out of a few drink options because of an unexpected large crowd earlier, but were VERY accommodating due to the shortage. Will definitely be back.

Fast and friendly service, lots of deep fried on the menu. Delicious cornbread served immediately for free. Then really really slow ...waiting for the food to come. Super nice but it was good beautifully presented just took way too long

Great atmosphere, food and staff. My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed everything. The staff was so warm and friendly. I enjoyed the seafood bucket stew which had corn, crab legs, shrimp, sausage and potatoes. My friend had the seafood platter and refused to share. The corn bread was out of this world. Please stop by for a visit you won’t be disappointed.

First of all..... Their cornbread is Off The Chain!!!! (Paid extra to take a pan of it home). My husband, son and I️ each had something different. All of it was great! I️ danced in my seat the whole time. To the awesome 50’s & 60’s music playing. Staff was so friendly- especially Ashley and Zula. And Al was very nice.

Average portions and priced fairly. Wait time for food was okay. Jamie, our waitress, was very nice. I've seen negative reviews about the service but our experience was good. Dining area was clean and nice tables and chairs. Would definitely eat here again. They're only open 3 days a week currently. They have both baskets and platters available of crab, oysters, fish and shrimp. Worth a visit.

Great find right off highway I95. Fresh seafood and homemade corn muffins, yum! Went totally out of their way to make chicken and rice dish with delicious dressing sauce that was gluten and dairy free. Gluten free burger too, but no bun. Clean diner decor, fun LP disks on ceiling. Sweet staff and wonderful owner that make meal experience very comfy with Southern charm and great eats for relatively inexpensive price.

This is not a good place for seafood. Our server was very unfriendly. Other staff were fine ,wish one of them waited us. Sorry but I cannot recommend this restaurant based on this visit

Everything was great, the food was amazing, full of flavor and so much to choose from. The staff was very pleasant and attentive and the owners were too. Very down to earth beautiful CLEAN, laid back place.

This is a quaint little seafood spot in Santee that will be sure to please. I went there with our group and the service was spot on as was the food. The owners are the same as the Rotonda down the street which is a fabulous spot in its own right, but only open on Sundays. Santee Seafood Bristo & Market is a way to get a taste of Rotonda’s cooking more days a week. I am very excited to see this open up and will be a frequent flyer here.

We stumbled upon this location and arrived near closing. The owner and staff greeted us without showing that they were closing soon. They were very friendly and the service impeccable!! The amount of food received was well worth the price and the food was very tasty! The collard greens, mac and cheese plus the cornbread were amazing and complemented our meals. We will definitely make a stop when we're at the Lake!

Small warm and friendly. The fish tacos we're recommended for lunch. There were 3 nice tacos when I had expected 1. The fried fish fillets we're crispy and not greasy. Great! EenE the French fries were good. This was my first time but not my last. I will be back to try more.

Ok this was one giant catastrophe after another,,,,only good thing I can say is MISS SHIRLEY was lovely took 1,5 hours to get 2 plates for dinner----all 3 tables waited an excessive amount of time for some pretty small portions of food and shells were in our meals,,,,if u value your time and sanity run dojf walk far far away from this place!!!!!
